The system is not connected to a printer, there is a connection problem with the printer, or there is no printer driver installed.
Check if the Problem Is Limited to Yearli
- Try printing from another program.
- If on a network, try printing to that printer from another computer.
Check if There Is a Default Printer Selected and Clear the Print Queue
- Access the Windows Run window by pressing the Windows key and R key on the keyboard.
- Type "control printers" (without the quotes) in the Open field.
- Click OK.
- Check to make sure the correct printer driver is listed and the default printer is correctly specified.
- Close the Printers and Faxes or Devices and Printers window.
- Access the Windows Run window by pressing the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard.
- Type “cmd” (without the quotes) in the Open field and press Enter.
- Type “net stop spooler” (without the quotes) in the command prompt and hit enter.
- Wait for the indication the spooler service has stopped.
- Type “net start spooler” (without the quotes) in the command prompt and hit enter.
- Wait for the indication the spooler service has started.
- Try printing.
Restart Printer and Computer
- Turn off the printer.
- Shutdown the computer.
- Wait a few minutes.
- Restart the printer.
- Restart the computer.
Reinstall or Update Printer Driver
- Access the Windows Run window by pressing the Windows key and R key on the keyboard.
- Type "control printers" (without the quotes) in the Open field.
- Click OK.
- Remove the existing printer driver.
- Download and install the latest printer driver from the printer manufacturer’s website.
