How to Update the Yearli Program (2017 and Older)

Updating a Standalone Installation

1. Open the Yearli Desktop software.
2. The program will automatically check for available updates.
3. When prompted by the "A required update is available." message, click Yes to update the program.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Next again.
6. Yearli will download and install the necessary program update(s).
7. Click Finish when it completes.
8. Yearli will open and display a PDF file with the release notes showing what program updates were applied.

Updating a Network Installation

1. Go to the server where Yearli Server is installed.
2. Double click the Yearli 20XX Update icon on the desktop.
   • If the icon is not available, go to Start -Programs - Greatland Corporation - Yearli Server 20XX - Yearli 20XX Update.
3. The software will check for updates.
4. If updates are found, click "install".
   • Updates will be automatically downloaded and applied to the server.
5. After the server update has been applied, go to each workstation.
6. Open the Yearli Workstation software.
7. When prompted by the "An update is available from the server." message, click Yes to update the program.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Next again.
10. Yearli will download and install the necessary program update(s).
11. Once it completes, click Finish.
12. Yearli will open and display a PDF file with the release notes showing what program updates were applied.
