How do I add a new user to the Yearli software?

Adding a new user

  1. Open the Yearli software.
  2. Login with the Administrator account.
  3. Click on the Security menu.
  4. Choose Manage User Accounts.
  5. Click the Add button on the right side of the User List window.
  6. Choose a User ID for the user account.
  7. Enter a password for the account. In Yearli 2015 and newer, the password must meet the following requirements: 
    • Must contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z).
    • Must contain at least one lowercase letter (a-z).
    • Must contain one digit (0-9).
    • Must be at least 10 characters.
    • Cannot exceed 128 characters.
  8. To force the password to be changed at the next login, check the Force Password Change at Next Login checkbox. 
  9. Enter the employee's name and user description.
  10. Check the Account is Enabled box to enable the account. To disable the account but retain the information entered, uncheck the Account is Enabled box.
  11. Set the user's permissions. Check the box next to each portion of the software the user will have access to.
  12. Click Save on the right.
  13. Click Add to add another user, or OK to close the window.
