Adding a new user
- Open the Yearli software.
- Login with the Administrator account.
- Click on the Security menu.
- Choose Manage User Accounts.
- Click the Add button on the right side of the User List window.
- Choose a User ID for the user account.
- Enter a password for the account. In Yearli 2015 and newer, the password must meet the following requirements:
- Must contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z).
- Must contain at least one lowercase letter (a-z).
- Must contain one digit (0-9).
- Must be at least 10 characters.
- Cannot exceed 128 characters.
- To force the password to be changed at the next login, check the Force Password Change at Next Login checkbox.
- Enter the employee's name and user description.
- Check the Account is Enabled box to enable the account. To disable the account but retain the information entered, uncheck the Account is Enabled box.
- Set the user's permissions. Check the box next to each portion of the software the user will have access to.
- Click Save on the right.
- Click Add to add another user, or OK to close the window.
