How do I update the Yearli program? (2017 and older)

Updating a Standalone Installation

1. Open the Yearli Desktop software.  The program will automatically check for available updates.
2. When prompted by the "A required update is available." message, click Yes to update the program.
3. A warning will appear stating to disable any anti-virus programs installed.  Disable any anti-virus programs and click the Continue button.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Next again.
6. Yearli will download and install the necessary program update(s).
7. Once it completes, click Finish.
8. Yearli will open and display a PDF file with the release notes showing what program updates were applied. 

Updating a Network Installation

1. Go to the server where Yearli Server is installed.
2. Double click the Yearli 20XX Update Online icon on the desktop.  If the icon is not available, go to Start|Programs|Greatland Corporation|Yearli Server 20XX|Yearli 20XX Update Online.
3. The software will automatically download and apply the updates to the server.
4. After the server update has been applied, go to each workstation.
5. Open the Yearli Workstation software.
6. When prompted by the "An update is available from the server." message, click Yes to update the program.
7. A warning will appear stating to disable any anti-virus programs installed.  Disable any anti-virus programs and click the Continue button.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Next again.
10. Yearli will download and install the necessary program update(s).
11. Once it completes, click Finish.
12. Yearli will open and display a PDF file with the release notes showing what program updates were applied.
