When attempting to import information from QuickBooks to Yearli, QuickBooks is opened again and the import cannot continue.
Disable User Account Control settings
Note: Disabling the UAC will require a restart of the computer in Windows Vista and 7.
- Disable the User Account Control (UAC). To do this:
- Access the Windows Run window by pressing the Windows key and R key on the keyboard.
- Type "useraccountcontrolsettings" without the quotes in the Open field.
- Click OK.
- Drag the slider to the Never Notify option.
- Click OK.
- For Windows Vista and 7 restart the computer.
- For Windows 7, 8 and 10:
- Attempt the QuickBooks import again.
Check Account privileges
Note: Local Administrator privileges are required when importing from QuickBook in the Yearli software.
- Access the Windows Run window by pressing the Windows key and R key on the keyboard.
- Type "compmgmt.msc" without the quotes in the Open field.
- Click OK.
- In the Computer Management screen, expand Local Users and Groups.
- Click on Groups.
- In the list on the right double click on Administrators.
- Verify that the active user account is listed in the Members section.
- Attempt the QuickBooks import again.
